People's Choice Awards 2011

I cannot believe Twilight won Best Movie. No offence to anyone who worships the movie.. just not my cup of tea. The fashion however is a different story. This years People's Choice Awards brought some nice fashion. Nothing particularly daring, but then again, this ain't that kinda awards ;)

Kristen Steward's Reem Acra dress was a beautiful piece of work but i really wish this girl would let hair and make up do their job! She always has nice oufits on but her hair and make up look like they have been done at home.

Natalie Portman in Jason Wu was just a suprise to me. I have no idea what she was thinking. This outfit seems to drown her figure.

Mila Kunis in J. Mendel. Love the dress. Hate the shoes.

Emma Roberts in a cute LBD, but hate the fabric. Seems a little cheap to me.

Taylor Swift, Fire your stylist. She has no imagination. She dresses you in the same thing again and again and yet again.

AnnaLynne McCord stood out in a bright blue backless YSL dress which she paired with gold Louboutin’s.

Niki Taylor was maybe a tad too formal at this event in a black Donna Karan gown.

Malin Akerman wore a playful J.Mendel white dress which she livened up with ruby red heels and a matching clutch.

Lucy Hale was my least favourite at this event wearing a mustard satin Ronald Abdala cap sleeve dress, which she paired with Rene Cavollia heels and Amrapali jewels. The whole outfit just seems thrown together.

Kendall Jenner wore a cute one-sleeve Bebe dress with hideous black brogues.

Maggie Q opted for a fashion-forward Herve Leger Fall 2010 dress with heavy black pumps. I love this outfit. My best Dressed. The hair, make up, dress, shoes all just seem to work together. I love Maggie.

Kourtney Kardashian wore a strapless Gert-Johan Coetzee dress. She accessorized with a Swarovski clutch and tan Louboutin’s.

Khloe Kardashian opted for a well worn Alexander McQueen strapless silk-chiffon gown which is back this season in grey.We’ve seen this dress in green on Jessica Alba and Mary J Blige.

No idea what Leighton Meester was doing there though.

I, then, half expected them to announce Katy Perry as the most classy of the night.

Well, to each their own i suppose.

Though overall, i must say it was a good award show in terms of style. Hopefully next year, there are more risk takers on the carpet. ;)
